Unseasonal December rose.

Not just the warmer temperatures but the roses still flowering in the garden. 7 buds and flowers in all on my two 'Grace' roses in the back garden.

I decided to use a shot of one of them today before it is too late. I love how the lower petals are almost translucent and despite being drenched yet again in today's persistent drizzle, I still think they look pretty.

After Pilates I walked up to my son's house for a cuppa. He too has a rose flowering in his front wall. Two lovely pale pink flowers!
Funny seasons. I would prefer it to be cold if it meant we saw some blue skies and sun and NO RAIN!
