Tembe

Up at 5am for the morning game drive in Tembe. Although we didn't see any lions (we don't usually so no real surprise!) this was probably the best drive we've ever done thanks to the huge variety of birds and animals that we did see and the encyclopaedic knowledge of our guide Olly. And we had our closest encounter with a bull elephant yet, just a Wow! moment.

It's a bit too hot for doing anything this afternoon apart from a dip in the pool and some cool, refreshing drinks. I can live with that though. Off to Mozambique tomorrow so I think it'll be a wi-fi-free blip-pause for a few days and some backblip catching up. Here's hoping we gave a trouble-free border crossing .... the photos for our visas are so bad they might chuck us straight back out!
