Gently Winding River

I had a lovely time with my Wednesday friends today, despite the continued dull weather. (Actually, they are friends every day but we meet up on Wednesdays :)) At least it stayed dry and we were able to go for a decent walk on the edge of the New Forest - it seems ages since I was out walking for an hour or two, enjoying the fresh air! This photo was taken from a view point where there were beautiful views across the valley, although the lack of light made it quite difficult to photograph. Much as I love to see all the Christmas decorations, I'm pleased to be able to blip something else today :)

After our walk, we found a great village shop, stocking all kinds of festive goodies, so stocked up on these before heading to the village pub for a leisurely lunch and lots more chat. It is amazing that we spend hours together most Wednesdays and never run out of things to talk about! :))

Now it's early evening and I just have time to post my blip, rustle up some nibbles for our home group Christmas 'do' this evening, before heading out to enjoy the company of more good friends! The kind of day I love! :)
