Female Whinchat...........

Back in the saddle...?? Well hopefuly........

Bev and i are off to Spain on Saturday for a week in a villa in the foot hills of the Sierra Nevada mountain range...........can't wait.

We actually fly from Gatwick on Saturday morning but we're having a couple of nights in Brighton, so our holiday starts Thursday.

Now have my holiday head on, so it's early finishes at work this week.

This morning on the way home from work i stopped off at the Browndown firing range, first visit for weeks.

It had rained pretty much all night, easing off at about 4-30am. I ended up at Browndown at around 5-45, wearing a light fleece over a company tee shirt, a pair of shorts, finished off with a pair of trainers, totally ill-prepared.

The ground and all of the undergrowth was absolutely saturated, so evrything i brushed against just made me wetter and wetter, by the time i got back to the car i was pretty much soaked to the skin.

My female Whinchat here, was well worth the wait and the soaking.

Despite the soaking, i'm determined to get my blip account back on the rails.
