St Gervais lights up

We've had a very relaxing week in an unseasonably warm St Gervais.
Just as we're leaving there's a sense of the town gearing up for winter, more & more restaurants are opening back up after their lull between summer & winter (we greatly enjoyed and appreciated the unadvertised 50% off first night of the season at our favourite last night, they simply told us when we went to pay, fantastic gesture).
During the week we've seen the planters refilled with Christmas trees, a polar bear family move onto the roundabout and heard the carols being played through the pa system. But my favourite is all the trees in the square being lit up, looks fabulous & somehow makes everything seem oh so cheery.
