The late Gertrude Jekyll

A late blip, Monday was so grey, an energy-sapping dullness, to go with the 'news' that June was the wettest and dullest on record! So, to counteract all that, here's a picture of a most fabulous rose, Gertrude Jekyll. We have it in a pot by the front door which is perfect for getting a nosefull of its wonderful, generous fragrance, and it's a spirit-lifting colour too.
