The poor old archivist

Well, today is the 30th anniversary of me starting work at The National Archives (or Public Record Office as it then was). 30 years. We're now opening records that hadn't even been thought of when I joined. There's just not many left now who have been there longer than me. By ruse of bringing in nice biscuits to mark the event I was able to persuade Cathy, who I worked with on archiving the records of the 2012 Olympics, to take a few snaps of me at the Archives - so strictly this blip is her handiwork. Hope that's OK, and thanks Cathy!
