Father and son

I thought I knew what I was going to blip today, but this is the photo that won my heart. It reminds me of this one, nearly four years ago, when Bella was twice the age Evan is now, but about the same size. What I said then, I say again now: "Seth's father left before he was born. My father left before I was born. Seth has taken generations of absent fathers and created fathering with no models and no limits. I never knew, until now, how present a father could be. It is more beautiful to my eyes than I ever dreamed it could be."
