What Do I See?

This morning we had a lot of light showers which the garden would have loved.  This afternoon the sun showed her sunny face. It sure has been cold. 

This afternoon I finished off my Christmas cards and done some reading. A rather lazy day. 

My Christmas tree is all decorated now and this is one of my fairies.

But when they settle down to sleep
A gentle song they sing
Sweet Queen of Night
Soft silver stars
We're glad you are so near
We seek our beds
We rest our heads
Without a moment's fear
On thistledown
In hidden nooks
We watch the waning light
The joys of sleep
Upon us creep
