Today we visited the Yorkshire Sculpture Park to see the 'Poppies Wave'  art installation by artist Paul Cummins and designer Tom Piper which formed part of 'Blood Swept Lands and Seas of Red' at the Tower of London in autumn 2014.  The individual ceramic poppies are grouped in a mass cascading over a bridge in the park.  They finish in water and mud which adds a particular poignancy to the whole thing.  An emotive experience.
