Pronounced.....................

This is Teston which is pronounced "Teeson". Actually it's at Teston Lock, the village of Teston is about half a mile up the hill behind me in this shot. To the right you'll spot an oast house peeking from behind the trees. It's this far over because I cropped out a bin for those who walk dogs. the river is high and both the weir and sluice were letting a lot of water through. The canoe and fish pass was only suitable for those wanting a white water experience.

I spent some time here reading and enjoying the unseasonally mild weather.
