Christmas Cheer
The blip was in the bag after this mornings sunshine and mild weather - hanging out washing in shirtsleeves in mid-winter :-/. A pulsatilla and an anemone were duly recorded. However these were overtaken by events this tea time.
A knock on the door brought a completely unexpected Christmas gift from friends at our church. Aware that we have been though some hard times this year we were chosen as one of the recipients of a seasonal share-out. In truth we are not (yet) hard-up but the affirmation and goodwill that the gifts brought have raised our spirits ... as you might be able to tell from this, the last of a sequence of pictures. Knowing that people out there care matters more than words can tell ... a feeling that many of you in this community also contribute to.
The girls are making plans to share some of the windfall with homeless folk ..... J & I know a few people who might benefit too.
