The First Bauble

I have made a start with decorating the house for Christmas. The tree is in place, the lights are on and it has just one bauble. In the morning it will have more.... but for now I have made a start! 

I had lunch today with my very good friend Forouz. We met when our children were little and have been good friends over the ups and downs of life ever since. It's so lovely to have someone who understands you completely.

Blipmeet tomorrow at Waddesdon for the lights. I have already seen them lots of times but never get tired of them. It will be interesting to go round as a Visitor!
