Memento

After Saturday's knick-knack shot, I thought I would raid the wooden box again and capture another memento, this time from my other Grand-dad, and with a more contrasty, textured treatment..

I remember this camera when I was very young, maybe younger than my kid is right now. It was the camera that stimulated my interest in photography, later to be encouraged and brought on by my Dad.

I never used it, but I was always, endlessly fascinated by it, the way it concertinas in and out, the view through the lens, the smell.
