During this time of the year in Japan, it's customary to give gifts to bosses, parents, relatives etc. to express gratitude (called Ochugen) or show appreciation. This melon was given as a gift and tasted really sweet.

I went to a public bath tonight and loved it (male and female separated). There are seven different baths including natural hot spring baths. Some come to the public bath with their friends or families and others on their own. The public baths provide great pleasure and help us keep company.
