Ilha Grande, Brazil!

This island is huge, hence the name translating to big island! Although the village is quite small and very touristy, it is mostly lush green rainforest surrounded by clear green water!

After our week of luxury in a hotel with Cam's parents, we retreated back to hostel life, but after 2 nights in a dorm we called that quits and moved to a private room! We have decided to take a mini holiday on our holiday and take a break from backpacking. (Cam also needed to sleep a lot to recover from his dengue fever). We have had enough of being social with fellow backpackers and are just enjoying each other's company and doing a lot of relaxing!

Whilst on the island for the week, we found several little beaches to relax on each day, Cam doing his sudoku and listening to nerd podcasts, and Jess sunbaking, colouring in and listening to wedding podcasts = happy days :-) We also found an awesome beach front bar where we had our daily sunset beers!
