For many years we have had a tradition of ordering smoked salmon from the Hebridean Smokehouse on North Uist, to be used on Christmas Day and New Year's Eve. And it arrived today - carefully wrapped and ready to store until needed..

The place we stay in on North Uist is close to the Smokehouse and it was fascinating two years ago to go in and see the place that has been associated with our Christmas for so long.
  
They always enclose in the package a lovely card with a Hebridean view. Now I'm tempted to see if the house we stay in has any availability for next year!!
