Music box

Thanks everyone for your very kind comments and stars lately.  We are having a deal of trouble with the  internet, and my laptop has decided to go into slo-mo; so the two combined are making Blip a very frustrating experience..

We spent a lovely morning cruising down the Rhine, and this afternoon a delightful time in Rüdesheim, exploring the Christmas market.  A highlight was a visit to Siegfried's Kabinett, an amazing collection of music boxes, automata, and mechanical music.  This image is of a tiny silver music box with singing bird (we could have bought a reproduction for the mere sum of 3,900 euro, but decided it would only have collected dust).
