NEMA - Top Secret !

It was top secret and in use between 1948-1978, for military purpose and to transfer secret messages from/to Swiss embassies. This model here is well kept in the Museum of Communication in Bern.

Nema stands for Neue Maschine (new machine) and its construction is based on the famous Enigma. Switzerland bought some early Enigma machines from Germany before WWII started, which were then used as basis for an own code machine.
