Had such a lovely morning at Castle Howard today..it was the idea of my friend Kate, who wasn't quite feeling the Christmas spirit just yet and thought it would be just the thing to get us in the mood...she was not wrong...so much Christmasness in one place... candles, baubles, pine scents, stockings, stars, mince pies, Christmas cake and Wensleydale and a tree in every room...
