Shop Local

Up early and back to my old school so Mr P could be Santa for 680 children. He's now done this for the last ten out of eleven years, it's a close shave who loves it the most, the children or him! He did a great job.

Lovely to see old friends and colleagues but the best part is knowing l have no regrets about deciding to retire.

On the way we were treated to a glorious red and pink sky. No sunrise but still uplifting to see. It was nearly my blip for today but l decided to show a couple of our local shops all trimmed up for the festive season.

The one on the left had always been a greengrocer but changed hands in the summer and is now a wine shop. Says a lot about how healthy eating and five a day has gone out of the window to be replaced by booze!

I did notice the wine shop has stocked Christmas trees and wreaths to fill the void in our local needs.

Last weekend before Christmas, everyone seems very busy, hope you have a good one.
