Beer o Clock
Forced out of bed at 3:20am (yes you read that right). All for breakfast was a soggy pastry and a coffee in Edi Airport. Three hours of discomfort courtesy of feckin Ryan Air. I know that all of the budget airlines are pretty crap, but it seems to me that Ryan Air really does go out of its way to ensure that one is totally uncomfortable, and then spend time trying to flog their crap, overpriced food and drink alongside their poxy scratch cards. I'll swear that the pilot left a hole in the runway when he brought us down, I'll also swear that we bounced back up at least fifty feet. Thus we arrived in Malaga.
Part two was a very comfortable bus to Granada, some 145(ish)Km, but then, after feckin Ryan Air a horse and cart would have been comfortable. Somewhere around an hour and a half/an hour and three quarters we were checked in, in a nice room and realising that we were ravenous - pigs were going to have to die to satisfy this hunger. Ten to twenty metres from the hotel door is a tapas bar that satisfied the need for copious amounts of pork products, and more importantly a couple of beers.
Short walk, tickets for the Alhambra, another short walk, sleep (that feckin Ryan Air wouldn't allow me to have trying to sell their tat), blip - end of day so far, I'm quite sure that more tapas and beer will follow later.
