watch me, ma!

popped down to northumberland to see the lovely M, who i was at uni with, and spend some time with her and the wee man - big day today, he was getting his first bike! there was a brief tussle about the helmet (no! / no helmet, no bike. / <gives in>) then it was off down to the prom at whitley bay, just by their house, for a trial. i think he did well for day one :-) and he was excited enough to tell his dad about it when he got home, so that's a good sign, i reckon. bless...
