Back in the middle of November June decided she wanted a new fridge/freezer to replace the piddly one we inherited with our house. It was relatively new, but too small, and it needed manually defrosted.
June wanted an American style one with a water dispenser. Because of the limited space that it has to go in, careful and precise measurements were taken.
After searching in the shops we saw the one we liked and near the end of the month, ordered and paid for it, with delivery set for the first week in December.
The day came, the phone rang, "can't make it," van broken down.
As they decided they could not deliver until the following week, we told them not to bother, then eventually got through to Currys, and after much persuasion we cancelled the sale and got our money back.

At the weekend we went online and ordered one. It was delivered the following Monday.
With plenty of text and phone call communications during the week.

It arrived on time, the driver had to take the doors of the appliance off to get it through the doors of our house. After scraping the bottom of the fridge on the back step breaking a clip, and scraping the separator then having to return to fix a hinge they left loose ( which we discovered later was broken), they put it in place. Four hours later after leaving it to settle, we switched it on.
Nothing, zilch,naught.
Calling up, they apologised and delivered a replacement yesterday. Different delivery guys who new their job, got it up and running.
Until...
Later on June went to get a drink
Of water via the dispenser. The water poured out from under the fridge onto the floor. It appears the pipe wasn't connected. They are coming back tomorrow.
