St Mary the Virgin

I've blipped the outside of this church before. I was looking at the carving of Mary on the door when the Warden turned up with the biggest key ever. Mo invited me in and was delighted to let me photograph the business end. Thankfully, the dogs, Max and Zoom, behaved themselves impeccably.
I felt a degree of pressure to do the beautiful interior justice. No tripod, no HDR, no flash. I've done my best but I doubt the end result would stand up to close scrutiny. All the same, it's a really pretty church and that comes through I think.
The church is raising £100,000 to repair the roof.
