Pure kiwi biscuit tin

Young Flynn and Eve arrived with a tin of Belgian chocolate biscuits for us today....in the most beautiful tin. Everything about the tin sings of a kiwi summer...white sandy beach, pohutakawa tree and a tui.....let alone the biscuits inside! And I know that I will continue using the tin once the biscuits are gone, somehow the tupperware plastic containers, atlhough airtight etc, don't have the charm of a good old fashioned tin.

Have a halo on tonight along with feeling very weary. Lawns done and windows washed inside and out. Followed by a swim as it really was a hot afternoon. Ian was out all afternoon with a charter on the lake, certainly a good day for it.
