Beechworth - Victoria

The car computer was telling us it was 41 degrees Centigrade outside (that's 105.8 Degrees Fahrenheit)  and boy were we happy we have an air-conditioned car.  We left the Blue Mountains this morning on our way to Melbourne where we will spend Christmas with CCN's family.  It's the first time we will have had Christmas with her little granddaughters, so we're very excited.

We aimed for Beechworth because we just love this historic town.  It's just a little way off the beaten track and as you'll see from the extra it's not far from some pretty quirky towns, like Yackandandah, Wodonga, Wangaratta!!

We're hoping for a slightly cooler day tomorrow, but we only have around 260km to travel before we arrive in Melbourne.  A lot less than the 615km we did today.
