First Snow for A Happy Snowperson

Well here was an early morning surprise. Not much snow; but enough to say "Christmas is Coming" and the shovels, salt, snowtyres (if you use them, I don't), heavy coats, etc..
From 14º C last week --that's @ 59º F down to 24ºF here today and tomorrow -- that's a minus -4º C there, we are getting to winter after all.
This is very good weather for the soil, insects that live in it, bulbs needing a good chilling, etc. Or so I keep telling myself.
The cats do not appreciate it too much. Gracie T-t did go out to inspect and PD Budd went to find a pile of dry something to make his morning deposit. No playing outdoors for anyone.
