Salts Mill

A lovely day today with friend Jo and Hubbie . We went to Salts Mill last year at this time - maybe we'll do it next year too. It's a good pre- Christmas place to visit. We started with drinks and mince pies, looked around the shopping bits, discussed the David Hockney works in 'The Arrival of Spring' exhibition- we are all fans of his work, had lunch( thanks Jo) , looked around some more and had tea before we left.
I love the abstract bits in David Hockney's iPad landscape Wolds work. (I've put 2 sections from DH'a work, a plant in one of the Mill's window and my coffee and mince pie in the collage to sum up the day. Notice the Christmas Tree on my cappuccino).
A very good day indeed.
