Still in the dark............

I got blipped in the dark on Wednesday and I got blipped in the dark today.  Roll on Tuesday when the days will start to get longer again.


Apart from a 5 min play in the park at lunchtime............... in the rain................. I’ve had all of my walks on my lead.  I don’t really like days where I have all of my walks in the dark on my lead.



It’s different in the summer when the nights are lighter because then I quite often get an extra walk in the evening.  This evening after we’d walked home, I knew there was no way Ann was going to take me out again, in the rain, for another walk in the dark.



.....................So I asked to go out to play on my sun terrace which tonight is a rain terrace!   I stood here for ages just surveying the scene.  Quite often I spot all the neighbourhood cats from this position but tonight there wasn’t one single cat about.  Ann said, ‘Molly, you really are rather silly.  Why on earth do you think the cats will be out and about in the dark & rain when they can be lying all warm & cosy indoors in front of a fire?


Well, I think it’s Ann that’s being rather silly.  It might be dark & rainy tonight but temperatures today have reached 17 degrees in St Ives so why on earth would anyone be lighting a fire???



Anyway I’m fed up of looking for non-existent cats so I’ve come in now.


Apparently I smell like a wet dog.......................................


...........................Well I’m hardly likely to smell like a wet cat am I???
