Took a couple of hours out of Christmas preparation to go to the Stewart Brewery open day. I love the place: it's a heady mix of high technology, acute business acumen and wonderful beer. I'd invited a colleague to go along with me, but was pleased that we were joined by the School's recently retired serious beer drinker and his son. 

The "Craft Beer Kitchen" is where they experiment - avoiding making 3000l of something undrinkable - and the public can come to make 100l of their own beer for a very reasonable price.
