Turning the Lights On

Right, we're getting there. Up early, all Christmas cards written and posted. Christmas tree up and decoration in progress. It's starting to look a lot (more) like Christmas...

After lunch we met up with good friends Helen and Matt at Waddesdon Manor to see the evening light display and the Bruce Monro art/light installation. The installation was clever and made an interesting spectacle but a bit of an anti-climax given what he has put in place the last couple of years. The rapidly changing lighting made it tricky to photograph but there is an example in the extras. In contrast, the house looked better than ever with a coordinated light and sound show every 15-20 minutes as the daylight disappeared. It was fun to catch up and have something great to photograph.
