Festive Frolics

Ach I haven't blipped in an absolute age, but here is a wee photo of my big boys on the red route at the fab Tarland Trails today.

The weather was unseasonably warm with a (beautiful) slight breeze but the daylight hours were so limited you could tell we were in late December. All in all we had a fun afternoon out together. The littlest did a couple of routes on the back of my bike exclaiming 'Woh, this is awesome' before asking for his bike. He tried it out for less than 5 minutes before ditching it to run round the pump track instead. Later he told us his bike was broken and needed fixed - with pedals. A little bit of explaining of balance bikes may well be needed!

Back home in the evening our loss in cancelled plans also became our gain as we settled in for a film in front of the fire - well the boys did anyway, I spent the time decorating the house with a million sets of fairy lights.
