Fan Tan Alley

You get in, you get out. It's the real and actual hundred metre dash. If the earth quakes while you're passing through you're finished. All those quaint bricks'll come tumbling down upon yer heed. And that Turntable sign? It'll run you through!

The alley's desperately pretty at night, though, all strung with strands of orange lights and golden dangles. Those Chinese folk know all about pretty, they do.

Shopped. Spent rather more on my lazy Fred than I meant to. Never mind, he'll be pleased ... and he'll make it up to me when I'm 64.
