Day tripper

It's not often the let me out in the wild, but I got time off for good behaviour so left the office to go to site. No pool cars available so I jumped on the train.

This is a Class 170 Turbostar, a diesel driven multiple unit built in Britain by Bombardier, they operate the medium distance express trains in Scotland including this one on the Glasgow-Edinburgh route. They are due to be moved somewhere else when this line is electrified in 2016.
