Finally...

Finally today there was quite a bit of sunshine, what a treat! It seems so long ago that we had the sun for most of the day. I've barely taken my camera out over the last few weeks because of the murk. Today I went to Old Moor where there was quite a bit of 'waxwing fever.' I decided to go for a wander around the reserve and then down the TPT towards Bolton Ings. On the way I saw a small gathering of 6 siskin. They were happily munching the alders.... My pic is of one of the male siskins. The extra is the lovely waxwing :)
