Derelict Disused Doors
9.2C with dull spells, a few bright spells, and a few showers. Wind to 31 mph with gusts to 47 mph.
There was a very nice soft pastel sunrise this morning when Maeve the Deerhound and I were out for our first short wander of the day.
Grocery shopping this morning at Sainsburys and in M&S at City Quay/Gallagher Retail Park in Dundee then we left Maeve in the car so we could quickly walk up to one shop in Dundee in search of a last Christmas present. Failure. Not in stock. Big oops. On the way back to the car, and in a shower of rain, we revisited the buildings (not far from the car park) where I saw the colourful broken windows recently. Derelict disused doors today for Derelict Sunday.
After lunch, when it was brighter, Apothecary7 and I took Maeve for a walk. We went up to the church and carried on out the road towards Scryne. We turned right at Craigmill farm and went down the track to the shore road. Muddy track again with plenty of puddles and horses hoof prints. We came back along the cycle path and turned up the road to the shore to get home rather than go on the more usual longer loop up the main road.
Later Apothecary7 was decorating a papier-mâché vase. I have looked out some maps of the RER, Buses, and Metro in Paris with a view to decorating two of my pieces during the week.
