A slice of Lesley's life

Bliss

I'm not sure it's clear from the photo but the pup's eyes are closed and she is grinning her head off in contented bliss. Apparently this is largely down to Jackson being her favourite.

You'd think when he's having a good day we'd let that slide but the joy of a good day is that we get to tease him too. And him and Anna had a big old school sibling breakfast bickering about the wrongness in her lack of interest in Star Wars. J tried to tempt her to the light side with stories of the droid in the new film (none of which will appear here).

He's not done enormous amounts but he has been brighter and chattier and spent more time with all of us than he has been able to for a long time. Which apart from being good for all the obvious reasons is also a relief to me that it was the right thing to take him to the tank yesterday even though it was so tough. And he's all fired up for going for the next three days in the run up to Christmas.

All in all a generally chilled out Sunday. Barrecore for me, a run for Carl, a couple of dog walks and some light shopping in Chiswick. Another game or two of Telestrations and The Apprentice final.

EDIT: I forgot to mention the sprout in the corner. It's not us being slovenly. Turns out they are a favourite toy for Albi in a kind of food and toy in one. She plays catch with them, tosses them around with her mouth to chase after them and then lies on her bed nibbling on them.
