Sunset

We went to Inverness today. A bought a few last minute presents. We left early, just after three as I wanted to get home to see Strictly. On the way home there was one of those Motorway signs telling you that The road was closed at Braemore and some information below it which we didn't have time to read. We travelled on but didn't realize it was our road and as we got to Braemore the road was blocked.TC or I didn't see the block until we were almost on top of it, the light being very poor at the time but fortunately he managed to get round it with just hitting a cone.
We atopped to check the car and it was fine and three cars passed along the road so we thought it must be open so continued then suddenly there was a queue of vehicles. TC went to investigate and discovered the road would be closed for at least another fours hours as it was a tanker which was in the accident and sadly the driver died. We turned round and headed back to Contin and down to Dingwall and up the Lairg road. Eventually we got home and and I had missed almost an hour of the show.
