Lapwings at beach

During the night, a cold front came from Argentina, causing a big thundershower. Today was mostly cloudy, it was pleasant to walk, so we went to visit the coast gardens. At the point that there is a belvedere, we noticed on the rocks an entire family of Southern Lapwings. We stood at a safety distance to take these lovely shots, clockwise: Mom and her two very young; one of them was more active and was walking on the stones; Dad was looking at the beach, but kept an eye on his family; one of the hatchlings was tired and was at rest folding the legs. Observe that they don't have feathers yet, just fluff...
