All Lit Up

I am going to be posting photos in a hurry and in kind of a hodge-podge order.  My laptop battery continues to die after I somehow manage to get it to charge.  Then it's a race against the clock.  For instance, in the middle of writing up this blip at 7 am this morning *poof* everything was gone! I'm trying now in a frenzy to work with what's in the computer 16 hours later...

I have wanted to shoot the pretty white-lit decorations on the upper deck of this house for years.  It seemed that I didn't have a camera with me when I needed it or I couldn't pull over along the road for one reason or another.

This year the owners took their holiday spirit to a new level by spotlighting the entire house and flooding it in colorful scenes.  The slide projector changes every minute or two.  I only stayed out in the cold to shoot the blue with Santa's sleigh and the large reindeer on the side of the house.  I hope I got enough of an angle for you to see it. 

This house is a very impressive sight.  It's very large, set back on a side road, but visible like this from the main one.  Such a striking vision as you drive by on this slow, unlit boulevard during these pitch dark nights.
It's mesmerizing.
