Silent tipple

First, a stealth raid on Guildford before most people were up and about (a ball of wool and some bread), then a similar nip to the supermarket followed by a squidgy underfoot walk across the North Downs at Newlands Corner, then a quick visit to Silent Pool (featured here many times by Sheenagh Mclaren), on either side of which is a Vineyard and distillery. The distillery, which was only set up this year, is making this Silent Pool Gin from the chalk-filtered, gin-clear water flowing in to the pool. It's expensive against the popular brands, but it's a nice gin in a brilliant bottle - neat bit of marketing. More about the distillery here.
