Celebration: Twirled Baubles

These baubles were in a shop waiting for their opportunity to be part of the week's Celebrations.  They are beautiful and would look stunning on a tree with lights in their real shades of dark red and gold.  They make an interesting mono pattern with a bit of twirling and sections of the original image brought to the top.

I will be attending a funeral tomorrow of a young woman who died after a short but brave fight against cancer - we will be saying farewell to Abby and Celebrating her life on what would have been her 25th birthday. Death and Disease do not respect the seasons and whilst most of us will celebrate with our families and friends, we should remember those for whom is is clouded with unhappiness.
