Birthday Presents

My last working day before Christmas, although I will still answer student’s emails, up until Christmas and during the two week break.
 
Today’s picture is of the rest of my birthday cards and presents, which I received from my family. The ‘Yoda’ card was from my grandson and makes a cut-out Yoda figure. The beautiful flowers were from Victoria’s boyfriend and they have since been released from their paper wrappings. As you can see I also received hand cream, a tee-shirt, some more colouring pencils as well as two colouring books and a patchwork and quilting book.
  
The weather is very wet and very windy, so unpleasant outdoors. I did find time to move the two tubs from either side of the front door to make room for two small Yew trees, which will be planted elsewhere when the time is right. The two tubs containing roses and an assortment of bulbs now reside either side of the back door.
