What could give more pleasure than this scene which enhanced my ten minute walk to the paper shop on the promenade?

I had downloaded the newspaper at 05.30 and read it by 07.00. So why take my voucher for the paper version? Well we need it for lighting the wood burning stove. Also if we finish the cryptic crossword at morning coffee the we can have a go later at the Toughie crossword which is not included in the electronic edition.

More money than sense my mother would have said.

The pleasure of the sunrise was a necessary memory later in the day when the M6 journey to take gifts to Stockport was abominable with heavy rain, spray and large amounts of crawling traffic.
