A literary dog

I came across this dog and his owner in a charity shop today.  The dog was given instructions that it was supposed to sit outside the shop but it quite cheerfully ignored them and followed his owner inside.  Another huge amount of rain today, so that when I was driving round some country back roads the rain water was running off the hills and running across the tarmac in torrents.  Not good.
