The cattle

The vet came today to blood test all the cattle. We do this annually to prove high health in the herd. The new gates and system worked perfectly. We also got the cows pregnancy tested and Glen has got all but one in calf. A shame he didnt get them all in calf but atleast he works. We did shorten the time he was out to try and shorten our calving time. We discovered one of our cows has gone blind. She was the one we kept away from the bull as we are going to get rid of her next year. Vet wasnt sure what it was, possibly a build of braken toxicity. She is now on the good grazing so that she isnt bullied and has easy grazing.
