Doing it in style

First day of the holidays today and we celebrated in style with a pyjama day! We didn't leave the house till 4pm, but it wasn't all lazing about watching TV. Today was the first day of Operation: take back control of the play room! With everyone coming to us for Christmas this year the playroom is being re-commissioned to its proper purpose as a dining room.

Loads of toys are now in the children's bedrooms, the sofa and TV pushed right to the sides, 2 bags of old toys for eBay and 1 bag of rubbish. Still a bit more work to do. Some of the bigger items need new homes, but G&G popped in with some more decorations so it's looking quite good now. And I even found the motivation to clean the cooker. If only it would stretch to the ironing too...!
