Off we go

We set off down to Luton in weather that made us realise why we opted for a move to the south for Christmas this year.  Pouring with rain and blowing a gale.

As we headed south, the weather gradually improved.  In fact, W suggested we could stay in Luton for the holiday - I vetoed that!

Packed in a bit of a rush, as I spent the morning sorting out the dog and then my dad.  Brought two cameras, but managed to forget to bring a battery charger for either of them.  Fortunately, I do have a fully charged spare battery for each, so hopefully they will last!  My little camera will charge direct from the mains via a USB lead, but I'm not sure about the new Canon - I'll have to investigate.
