New kid

on the block. Funny how in general advances in technology result in smaller bits of equipment but not consistently in the camera world.

I am getting beyond the stage where a house brick round the neck and a country walk of a few miles hold unalloyed pleasure.

This little fellow will keep me company  when out and about although the big cameras are there for dedicated photo shoots with filters a tripod and long exposures. But I find them increasingly impractical for opportunistic shots when I have other things to do.
